How long will the application take?

Postal applications
We aim to process all postal applications within five working days. 
 

If we require identity and/or verification documents from you, we will be in contact within five working days on receipt of your application form. Once we have received these and you have passed the checks required a confirmation will be posted or emailed to you depending on your preferences. We aim to send out the confirmation within 10 working days after the receipt of your documents.
 

Online applications
If your application passes through our checks without the need for further documentation, your online account should be opened within a few minutes and an activation code will be sent to you by email along with the confirmation of your account being opened. These are usually received within 10 minutes of each other, however please allow up to one working day.
