If your application passes through our checks without the need for further documentation then as part of the application you can register for online banking. You will receive a confirmation email that your account is open and that you can fund this, within a few minutes.
If for any reason you were not able to complete the registration process during the application your activation code will be sent by post to the address given during the application. We aim to send this within two working days.
If we require identity and/or verification documents from you, we will be in contact within two working days on receipt of your application form. Once we have received these and you have passed the checks, your online account should be opened within a few minutes and you will receive a confirmation email of your account being opened and ready to fund. Your activation code will be sent by post to the address given during the application. we aim to send this within two working days of completing your application.
Postal applications
We aim to process all postal applications within five working days.
If we require identity and/or verification documents from you, we will be in contact within five working days on receipt of your application form. Once we have received these and you have passed the checks required a confirmation will be posted or emailed to you depending on your preferences. We aim to send out the confirmation within 10 working days after the receipt of your documents.
